Canine Capers Puppy Classes

Puppies (8 - 20 weeks)

Learn the tools you’ll need to build excellent communication between you and your pet and start laying the foundation for good behavior.

In our puppy classes we will focus on basic obedience
commands such as
• Sit
• Come
• Stay
• Wait
• Heel
• Down
• Leave it
• And confident building activities

Trainer - Melanie Batchen

Melanie Batchen is the proud mother/owner of two large-breed dogs and is well versed in all dog breeds and care. Melanie knew at an early age that she was destined to work with dogs. After completing high school, Melanie became an entrepreneur and started her own dog walking and pet sitting business. She then expanded into a doggie day care in the downtown Buffalo area. After almost six years in the daycare, dog walking and pet sitting business, Melanie downsized and worked privately with dog breeders and other dog aficionados in shows, animal behavior, and general dog care. After a long hiatus, Melanie completed her coursework in November 2010 and earned her certification in dog training from Animal Behavior College.
